These
are in the form of 'all in one body tights' or bodystockings
that can be made to cover the whole body or any part of the
body, in a fine sheer (see through) and shimmer (high gloss)
or satin (opaque) finish.
They are made from a weight of material similar to control tights
for strength and longevity and may be transparent or translucent
as required. They have rear seams, one on each leg that reach
from under the foot all the way to the neckline. The feet may
have reinforced toe sections and also shadow heels as required.
The crotch is double reinforced and can have a convenience zip
of up to 22ins. or 55cms. The access zip may be at the back
of the neck (12ins.30cms.) or one on the top of each shoulder
of (8ins.20cms.) The complete body tights have a very long access
zip running from the front of the crotch all the way up the
back.
Flesh tone and tan are the most popular shades but any colour
may be available.
The garment is extremely useful where embelishments may be required
in any form or position, and sewn if necessary, over the top
for show dancing.
There
are no horizontal seams except at the top of the arms where
the arms join the body. The arms have two vertical seams on
each. They can be made with hands (no fingers except half
thumb) with no join at the wrist, shear to the top and likewise
if a full head is required with no join at the neck, for such
shows as 'Cats', where the mouth, two nostrils and eyes are
small and finely cut out. The eyes are finished off with fabric
paint to complete the face to perfection.
The fit of such a garment may be made such that there are
no wrinkles.
These garments in their various forms of manufacture look
superb with our spherical 'puff ball' (see collage on home
page)or 'frothy' look dancewear or dancing skirts, (on our
other page) when used by dance troupes on stage or for ice/roller
dance exhibitions.
